The IC9-RS Real-time 2D Endocavitary Probe-A is designed to use with Voluson signature series systems and other medical equipments as applicable. The Ultrasound waves spread through the body, producing an echo where density changes occur. The echoes return to the transducer where they are converted back into electrical signals, thus resulting the quality of images. The probe generates mechanical high-frequency waves, transmits via digital memory to the computer, and forms as an image.
